This full basement renovation created an entire level of living space to the home that was previously dark, damp and, according to my client, “scary." We were asked to create a space where she could be excited to entertain friends and family so we removed some of the old walls and laid out the space to give her a full bathroom, laundry room with storage, and a large open concept living/entertaining space. We designed built-in cabinetry spanning the whole wall with an integrated fireplace for a cozy factor.  We kept the finishes light with pops of colour which really make the space feel vibrant and fun. We layered textures with our fabrics, a luxurious area rug and modern artwork to reflect the client’s personality.
